Alex Keepers - Rest In Peace

On 31 DEC 07, Alex Keepers, a Lieutenant with Loudoun County Fire Rescue & Emergency Services was killed in an automobile crash while on his way to work. The Arcola Fire Department is greatly sadened by the loss of Lt. Keepers. He had served at our Department out of recurit school and was well liked by all. Our best wishes for his family, friends, and co-workers. Arcola volunteer personnel staffed ER9, M9-1, E19, and M19-1 during the funeral on 5 JAN 07 to allow co-workers to attend the funeral. Our thanks to Sterling for bringing over the Quint to allow TL-19 to participate in the funeral. Senior personnel from the Department were in attendance at the funeral as well.
