APVVFD Training with US Park Police

On April 9, 2008 members of the Arcola Pleasant Valley Fire Department completed a joint training exercise with the US Park Police Aviation Division. Each year APVVFD participates with the USPP in hoist operations training and helicopter use. Each member participates in active stokes basket hoist training and in proper hoisting of personnel.
