Flooding in Arcola Area

Monday May 12, Fire and EMS crews were busy in the previous night and all day handling issues related to the rising water. This photo was taken on Watson Road near the intersection of Evergreen Mills Road. Late in the day, the water crested only a few feet from the bottom of the Goose Creek Bridge on Evergreen Mills Road. The bridge on Watson Road remained closed until the next day.
