Moments past 11 PM last night, crews from Arcola and Ashburn were dispatched to an auto crash with entrapment. Upon arrival, crews found a single passanger vehicle on its side partially wrapped around a tree. Crews had to remove the roof of the vheicle to gain access to the patient using Hurst hydraulic rescue spreaders and cutters. Once access had been made, crews found the dash had rolled onto the patient’s legs, pinning them in the vheicle. Spreaders were utilized to push the dash away from the patient, freeing them. One patient was transported to a local area hospital for further treatment.
