Arcola Responds to Strucutre Fire in Ashburn

Thursday evening, October 2nd, units from Ashburn, Sterling, and Arcola were dispatched for a structure fire on Greenwich Sq in Ashburn. The report was a kitchen, entirely engulfed in flames, as seen through the windows. Ashburn Engine 23 entered structure and controlled the fire shortly after arrival. Additional units began checking for fire extension within the structure. Rescue Engine 9 was the fourth arriving Engine, taking the Rapid Intervention Team position, as well as supplying a secondary hydrant for Sterling Engine 11.
