As a Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department we depend on donations from our community, businesses, and you to keep our doors open and responding to emergency calls. We receive funding from several sources including County and State Funding, Federal and local grants, and donations.

Arcola Pleasant-Valley Volunteer Fire Department (APVVFD) primarly operates out of our Primary Station Company #9 at 24300 Gum Spring Rd. This location including the property, building, apparatus and equipment are owned and maintaned by APVVFD. We also own and maintain apparatus at the Dulles South Public Saftey Center in South Riding which includes a Fire Engine and Ambulance.

Per the IRS all donations to APVVFD are fully tax deductible from your Federal Tax Return. Please consult with your Tax Preparer for specific information.

We are able to accept donations online using the Google Checkout Donation form to the right, or you can also mail a check or other form of payment to the above address. All donations are used to directly support our mission of providing service to our community. This includes functions beyond our primary 911 response service to include, Public Service events, Fire and EMS Standby's, Community CPR Training, and Fire Prevention programs. Our Public Service events include our presence at most community events, Birthday and Block party events, Open House twice a year, and other community support.
