Structure Fire in Brambleton



Shortly after 3:30 on Saturday afternoon, company 9 was alerted for a structure fire on Conquest circle in the Brambleton area. Rescue Engine 609 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke with fire showing in the basement. The fire quickly spread throughout the house and a second alarm was called. The fire was knocked down, and units proceeded to salvage operations. Units from Arcola, Dulles South, Ashburn, Moorefield, Aldie, Sterling, Leesburg and Fairfax County worked for three hours on scene, and the company 9 night crew returned later to continue with overhaul operations.
