The Arcola-Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department maintains a fleet of top line firefighting and EMS vehicles which we use to provide our services to the community.
All of the vehicles are owned by the department and were purchased using money from donations and fund drives.
Support 609

Support 9 is a 2006 Ford E350 with a Rockport Cargoport body. It was modified by Fastlane Emergency Vehicles of Purcellville, Virginia.
The primary role for support 9 is to provide rehab services to fire and EMS personel at large incidents. To this end, the truck is equipped with food and drink, fans for hot weather, tables and chairs, supplemental lighting, awnings to provide protection from the weather, and a 5500 watt generator. The truck also carries orange cones and other supplies to help provide traffic control at auto accidents.

Along with its operational role, this truck serves the company as our primary public service truck. In addition to the large recruitment graphics, designed by Imagine Design of Fairfax, on both sides of the truck, it carries numerous recruitment and public safety handouts and promotional items to be passed out at the many public events that the department attends.
