The Arcola Volunteer Fire Department has been a BSA chartering organization since 1999. We currently charter a  Scouts BSA troop and a Venturing Crew.

The Scouting program at Arcola VFD is overseen by the Scouting committee. The committee chairperson serves ex officio as the Chartered Organization Representative for each of our units.

Important update – effective 2026, Troop 1430 will become a family troop welcoming both boys and girls as members.
